[22-Nov-2001] HYPERTERMINAL NO.3 IN DAILY STAR'S ESSENTIAL CLUBBING
CHART
Hyperterminal's track 'Hemisphere' featured at number 3 in the Daily
Star's Essential Clubbing Chart on Thursday 22nd November 2001.
'Hemisphere', featured on the Hyperterminal E.P. (out now from Rough
Diamond) had previously been at number 4 and was ahead of Ian Van Dahl,
Kosheen, Public Domain, New Order, Faithless, Hi-Gate, Roger Sanchez,
Push and Angelic among others.
The chart, which is also published online at www.essential-clubbing.com
is supposed to be an accurate reflection of what tracks club DJs are
playing in the UK, compiled by DJs every week.
Hyperterminal's second vinyl release is due out early next year, and
will feature Voyager and Stay With Me.
[29-Oct-2001] HYPERTERMINAL NO.1 ON VITAMINIC - OVERALL
On October 28, 2001 Hyperterminal's "Seeking You" became the first Frantik
Music track to achieve the top spot overall on any music site.
Hyperterminal have been no.1 on the Vitaminic Electronica/Dance chart
before, and Silverknight have achieved no.1 on the MP3.com hard house
chart but until now no Frantik artist has ever had a track at the top
spot over all styles of music.
That changed for two days on 28 and 29 October when Seeking You became
the most downloaded track on the entire Vitaminic site across all genres,
beating the Stereophonics and Depeche Mode among others. Not bad for
a track that is now 2 years old!
Hyperterminal's debut release, Hyperterminal EP, is in shops now.
[15-Oct-2001] SILVERKNIGHT'S WEEK AT NO.1 ON MP3.COM HARD HOUSE

The Bass" and "The Stomper" for their new label Rough Diamond. The release
was delayed due to some complications but the tunes are now available,
all in extended mixable 12" versions never available online.
Silverknight's tunes are available on the first release from Rough Diamond
Light Blue (the hard house sub-label) and Hyperterminal on the first
release from Rough Diamond Pink (the trance sub-label). Follow up tunes
have been signed for later this year. Find out more about the releases
and how to buy from the vinyl page.
Both these releases are available direct from Cheeky Charas and also
online via dance 12" specialists Juno Records.
Thanks to Lee from Cheeky Charas for making this all possible!

CHART
Silverknight got Frantik Music it's first ever MP3.com top spot when "Tripzone" reached
No.1 in the worldwide MP3.com hard house chart on June 18th, 2001.

some welcome publicity. At it's peak the track was no.16 overall in the
Dance chart and no.62 overall on MP3.com out of over 500,000 tracks including
artists such as Madonna and Tom Jones. During it's week at the top, the
track had over 2000 plays.
On June 18th, Silverknight also had 8 other tunes in the MP3.com hard
house top 40 - a record for any Frantik Music artist on any MP3.com genre
chart. "Science Fiction" by Space Invaderz was also no.4 in the chart

and "Science Fiction" from Space Invaderz.
[19-May-2001] NEO DISCO TERRORISTS FEATURE FRANTIK TRACKS ON
MIX CDS
American digital mixing team Neo Disco Terrorists have selected several
Frantik tracks to include in their exclusive MP3.com mix CDs.
The innovative mixing group use computer mixing techniques instead of
turntables to blend together the latest MP3 material from the MP3.com
dance scene, and produce mix CDs in a variety of styles such as house,
trance and techno featuring some of MP3.com's most successful producers
including The Cynic Project and Karoly and Monica.
NDT first got in touch with Frantik's John Dalling to ask permission
to use Dreamworld's 'Your Smile' in their latest happy hardcore album,
and have since decided to include Silverknight in their new house album
and Hyperterminal in their trance album.
You can preview and buy the mix CDs at http://www.mp3.com/neodisco -
the website includes track listings for each CD and preview stream, so
you can find out which artists you are listening to.
[07-May-2001] SILVERKNIGHT REACH NO.3 ON MP3.COM HARD HOUSE
CHART
Silverknight provided Frantik with it's highest MP3.com chart position
to date on May 6th 2001 when "Back To The Nu Skool" rocketed to no.3
in the Hard House chart.
Silverknight were featured by MP3.com on May 4th, gaining 440 plays in
one day alone on the world's most popular MP3 site. This has led to several
Silverknight tracks breaking the hard house top 40 chart, with "Back
To The Nu Skool" highest at no.3 (probably due to it's inclusion in the
May 7th MP3.com daily hard house playlist). "Techno Funk" featured at
no.21 and "Plutonium" at 37.
The previous MP3.com high for a Frantik track was in December when "Just
Can't Fall In Love" by Dreamworld peaked at no.5 on the Happy Hardcore
chart. Frantik continue to do well on the Vitaminic UK charts with both
Hyperterminal and Silverknight in the Electronica / Dance Top 10 between
April 24 and May 7.
