Psychadelik Pedestrian's long awaited self-titled compilation album is released today! The album brings together 14 of the best Psychadelik Pedestrian tracks from 1996 to 2008. Combining instrumental and orchestral sounds with lush, uplifting, sometimes sinister synth pads and old skool rave and jungle influences, Psychadelik Pedestrian creates chillout, trip hop, drum and bass and electronica with a distinctive melodic feel. The tracks chosen for this compilation all demonstrate Psychadelik Pedestrian's trademark sound, and are available here in full, newly remastered mixes. 23 June 2008New Funky House from Phish Funk

Phish Funk stir up the dancefloor with two new funky tracks. "Beautiful Geometry" is pure melodic, funky house with building riffs, groovy bass and pumping club beats, as well as lush synth pads adding a chilled, mellow feel. Dave Kent adds a bonus remix of Phish Funk's "Phenomenon", retaining the original bouncy synth stabs and adding funky riffs and throbbing house beats. 12 June 2008Loopzilla feature Beat Doctor and Redmann

Marcus E. Henry features two Toucan tracks on his latest mix for Loopzilla. Beat Doctor's "The Piano Tune" and Beat Doctor's mix of Redmann's "Tonight" are both included on the "Beach Life" mix which is described as being full of "cool and relaxed tunes - just the kind of stuff to get right into party mood, or maybe to calm down after partying the night away". 22 May 2008New Release

JMD and new talent Kube join forces to present a bangin' hard dance track "Interference", featuring four to the floor club beats, throbbing bass, sweeping synths and bleeping sounds and effects. Psychadelik Pedestrian's remix adds breakbeats and melodic, uplifting pads. Both mixes are available in full DJ friendly mp3 format.

8 May 2008New Release

New from Marc Burt today is a double track release featuring two progressive house tracks with trance and techno influences. "Pioneers" features rolling, acidic synths and bass complete with a catchy, unusual vocal sample. "Five Senses" is a slightly mellow track with old skool bell stab sounds, laid back house beats and a deep bass groove. Both tracks are full DJ friendly mixes complete with introduction for mixing and are in mp3 format.

Beat Doctor returns this week with a new house release including two full tracks. "The Piano Tune" features a simple yet irritatingly catchy piano riff, pumping house beats and a driving, gritty synth line. "Too Retro" features 80s influenced rhythms combined with a house kick, thumping bass and electro house synths, adding old skool rave stabs and effects. Risey returns this week with a brand new track, "I'm Chilled", combining his trademark melodic style with chilled, retro breaks, deep bass and ambient pads and pianos. The mix features house, progressive, breaks and electro, combining more commercial sounds with some more minimal grooves while maintaining an upbeat, melodic vibe. JMD is back with another uplifting trance release. "Polar" starts with driving tech-trance club beats and stuttering bass, then breaks down into a warm, mellow pad section before kicking in with an anthemic trance synth riff building up throughout the remainder of the track. Psychadelik Pedestrian presents a chillout remix, based on the pad section, adding spaced out beats. The bonus track, "Subfusion", is a melodic, thumping club trance track with old school synth and electro influences and features a catchy, slightly tongue in cheek, main synth hook. 20 Feb 2008Dreamworld shoots to number 1

"Feel The Power", the first new Dreamworld track for nearly three years, has shot to number one in the Download.com hardcore chart less than a week after its release. Joining Dreamworld in the top ten yesterday, Excelsior's "Dipsomania" also put in a reappearance at number 5.

Dreamworld return with trance influenced UK hardcore anthem "Feel The Power", combining warm, melodic arpeggio synth riffs and fills with thumping hardcore beats and bass. The track features a building intro followed by a breakbeat trance break in the middle, gradually increasing the energy until the main riff kicks in. New producer DJ Kube has provided us with a thumping 2008 remix of the 90's hardcore track "Dipsomania", originally by Excelsior, now available to download free from the hardcore releases page. The release also features remastered versions of the original piano mix, which became a surprise download hit back in 2002, and the Prism remix.

Sea.Envy has featured two Toucan tracks on his latest mix for international DJ mix netlabel Sonic Walker, Halo.
